Anxiety typically consists of feelings of uneasiness and worry, and sometimes also manifests in the body in the form of heart-racing sensations, lightheadedness, or nausea. Often, anxiety is experienced in the face of some uncertainty, or in situations in which there is an experienced lack of control. However, it is not uncommon to experience anxiety without knowing what exactly is causing it. Indeed, it is possible to feel anxious and not be sure what is underlying the anxiety, or, in other words, to feel as though one is experiencing anxiety for no reason. So yes, you can have anxiety for no reason.
What Is The Root Cause of Being Anxious?
There is no single root cause of being anxious. Anxiety can result from a range of situations and experiences. Some people may experience anxiety in anticipation of a situation which lacks certainty. Others may feel anxious when they sense they do not have control over an outcome that is very important to them.
